Although the MERO program is based at Stanford University, we do not receive any direct funding from the university. Instead, we rely on the generous support of people like you, who believe in the power of outdoor education to change lives.

It's easy to make a difference with a gift to support MERO:
*Due to the substantial paperwork associated with processing each donation, we are unable to accept tax-deductible donations of less than $50. If you wish to donate a smaller amount please contact Tyler McFadden at [email protected].

- $50* will fully outfit one student for the field with a field journal, magnifying glass, water bottle, and MERO t-shirt.
- $100 will provide waterproof field journals for 12 students to take notes, make nature observations, and collect field data
- $250 will purchase two pairs of binoculars so that we have a complete set. We currently have 10 pairs of binoculars for 12 students.
- $500 will provide meals for all our regular meetings and field visits for one year.
- $1000 will provide us with a school bus for a day to support an additional field trip to Big Basin Redwoods State Park, the California Academy of Sciences, or another exciting destination.
- $2000 will fully support our all-day field trip to Elkhorn Slough and the Monterey Bay Aquarium, including transportation, tour fees, and food.
- $7000 will fully support the MERO program for one year.
